Yellow mustard could help to relieve one of the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease - muscle cramping.
That’s because it contains the spice turmeric, which eases cramping (especially at night), said charity The Michael J. Fox Foundation For Parkinson’s Research.
This has been posted before, and it is nonsense. I suppose there might be yellow mustard somewhere in the world that also contains turmeric, but my yellow mustard contains only .... yellow mustard. If you want turmeric, take ... turmeric.
park_bear is correct. There would not be enough turmeric in the mild American yellow mustard for anything more than a placebo effect. At night time, I take 2 curcumin capsules and a magnesium tablet and still sometimes have leg cramps. My doctor told me that this was because of the PD medication wearing off, so now I take my regular PD me before bed as well and leg cramps are less frequent.
