It is worth noting that there are different types of vitamin E available and the natural form has proven itself to be superior to the synthetic form. The natural form is sometimes recognizable because it says "natural vitamin e" on the label. The synthetic form can be determined by looking at the label for the term "dl- ", such as dl-alpha tocopherol or for the natural form of vitamin e which will have the designation " d- ", such as d-alpha tocopherol.
