Does anyone know about intranasal frankincense?

After the great post about intranasal insulin I went searching in Australia for info on how to get it and have approached my doc for a script. Unfortunately he has gone in for an op and won't be available till mid January.

The Truth About Cancer has several reports on frankincense and brain cancer through the roof of the mouth, but it really makes more sense through the nose and into the brain through the olfactory nerve.

Has anyone got any info on this as a possibility?

I use essential oils daily so I looked up cancer and Frankincense. My reference guide suggests the use of Frankincense and Sacred frankincense to boost immunity. The oils are used in combination with antioxidants to help reduce inflammation. I use most of my oils topically plus I diffuse them daily in my home. Placing oils under the tongue is a very effective way to absorb them into the bloodstream.

Just be careful what oils you purchase. Some are diluted with things like alcohol. Make certain you buy a brand like Young Living which has therapeutic strength oils

Thank you, but have you heard of frankinsence used with Parkinson's? I thought that if it worked with brain cancer it might also have benefit with Parkinson's.

I have him tagged along with Mercola, Jockers and a couple of others. Have not found anything specific on frankincense and Parkinson's.

The FDA does not allow anyone other than medical personnel to diagnose and recommend treatments for any disease. Essential Oils are not regulated by anyone so you will only find general information without specifics. Cancer and PD are very different. If I find anything specific I will post it here.

I don't remember where I read it but frankincense oil is good for pd. Cant site any research. We keep a bottle of essential oil and inhale from it daily. Very nice fragrance. I also mix with lavender for bath or add to body lotion.

How are you getting on Getz ? Any obvious improvements yet?

Hi Munchy. Am using the NIR helmet 2x daily. Bought a bionase, but it gave my a slight runny nose so I stopped. shall restart in another week. diet is still much the same with all those dopamine producing herbs. The result is that I can consistently drink my latte and scotch with my right hand as the tremors seem to be moderating but certainly have not got worse. Am taking 500mg Thiamine 2x daily along with L-Theanine (seratonin)

Found that Chemist Warehouse online can get the Humulin insulin but haven't yet got a script as my doc went in for an operation. We'll meet up again in mid Jan.

Trying that fast walking every second day but my feet flop a bit when I get tired.

All in all I don't seem to be getting worse so that's a positive.

How are you going and what is hubby trying? I'm on the Sunny Coast at Coolum Beach till 2nd Jan if you are up this way sometime. Wish you well.
