Carbidopa Levadopa Working Better Than ever.

I have been taking the same Carbidopa Levadopa from the same maker (Mayne Pharma) for 4 years. When i had it filled this time the pills were different they have a M over 721 on one side and nothing on the other. The previous pills had a R on one side and 539 over a bar on the other. I can not find an image on the net so they must be new. They are flat on both sides. They must have changed how they work and It was a change for the better.

The first dose lasted over 4 hours. They take effect faster also (45 min vs 60 mins). I have been taking the new for a 5 days now and they have worked great every day. I went 7 hours and had only mild systems. The previous pills would last at most 3 or less. The previous pills had a R on one side and 539 over a bar on the other.

Good morning! How much of each ingredient is in the new pill? Is it the same as it was in the old one? Thanks.

Don't know what changed should be same amount of med just may be a different delivery system. All i know it works better for me. The dose is 25/100.

Where do you get your meds filled. I use Humana mail away, my pills have an m on one side and cl2 on the other.

cvs It does not matter where you can ask for what ever brand maker you want. If t hey will try different makers and see which one works for you. They are all different and you never know which one will work the best for you.

Ok, just started R 539 and they do nothing. Probably I'll throw them in garbage. B1 is working much better.

My husband and I both have PD, I get my 25/100 from Humana and they are usually from Mylan or Teva. my husband gets his from Walmart and they are some other pharma. He discovered he gets headaches, itchy scalp if he takes the ones from Walmart, but can take the Mylan or Teva made ones just fine. Walmart can't always get the right ones so i trade him off for mine. I seem to be able to take any of them. I guess the base they use for the carbolevodopa is what bothers him. (the Mylan made ones are flat, on one side have an M and what looks like ce2 (?) and plain on the other.
