I can just refer you to read Easily's list of 55 questions to Dr C , where similar questions are asked. Also, read the 600 plus posts put together by Easily, of people's experiences, issues, re B1. From what I've read, you should remain on some meds, but I really think you need to read those question, plus Dr C's intro.

This link should answer all of your questions regarding the B-1 protocol:

I have a question for you. Why aren't you getting free direction from Dr. Costantini? This is the best way to go because the people who have emailed him and stayed in touch are clearly the ones who have done the best and found their optimum dose the fastest. Many people who have tried to go it alone with no guidance are the ones who have done the worst, as in little to no benefit so they end up stopping because they think it doesn't work for them. A worsening of symptoms means that you are responsive to B-1 and that the dose is not correct! Contacting Dr. Costantini is the best way to go, for everyone who is going to test his protocol!

I think you should cut the dose in a half. I did that and helped. I take no other meds.

Berylhorsey1,

Yes, I saw an earlier post of yours stating the benefits you have gotten from B-1, such as no more tremor and I copied and pasted it to the, "who is taking thiamine thread" because it is such a good story and will be seen by even more people in that thread!

Thank you!

hi jimmydook well forget about every thing your taking at the moment get your self madopar or sinemet and start taking either of them i prefere madopar.its better for me then when you get your head and pain under control then try b1 in small doses ,madopar tablets you can break them in quarters and halfs start off taking half of one 3 times a day for a week then 3 quarters of a tablet 3 times a day then on the third week a full one 3 times a day.remember they are 200/50 ones not the capsules ones either.hope this helps regards.
