I've been here for about a week now. What strikes me most is that almost everyone believes genuinely that we have to keep trying to overcome the struggles which PD brings and get better. Mnny of the posts are informative and helpful.

I personally believe in carpe diem. Sieze the day. Live well today. Take each day as it comes.Aim to improve my condition bit by bit. Today is my typing day!

I think most people here are seeking or sharing information in a positive way.

When will you start your walking day?

Soon. Very soon.

Actually I am exercising and walking at home now. But need my husband with me to go out and walk since I stumble at times. He 'll be free 2 weeks from now for us to start our morning walks again.

I have been reading your posts from the earliest of your posts. Haven't finished all of it yet. I admire you for having gone drug free and reversing your PD. I absolutely agree with you that a positive mindset gives positive results. I also believe exercise and walking does encourage dopamine production in the brain as do yoga and meditation.

I do all four.

Planning to understand thoroughly the fast walking method to incorporate it in my exercise schedule.

I salute your spirit of perseverance with which you went drug free and Pd free. I am sure the journey couldn't have been easy.

Since you have 26 years of experience behind you your opinions and suggestions count.

Many thanks.

If you read a lot of the posts here you will see many tips regarding diet and supplements - two of the most popular being Mannitol and large doses of Vitamin B1. Everyone's Parkinson's is different and so what works for some doesn't work for others. But I am convinced that for a good number of people the right supplements, exercise and diet can improvement of the symptoms and slow progression to a standstill.

Just don’t quit. Find a project where you use your talent. Walk and exercise ideally with a support group. Develop creative writing to leave a mark that will last longer than that dang tremor. Follow the Pd rules of David, the first person to have PD.... maybe. Plan a trip to Kyoto

What is the option you have got to be positive and keep fighting

To my mind the foremost thought is of my loving husband and my supportive mom, both selflessly trying to keep me going. I am grateful to them and work with them on myself. I don't entertain sad or why me thoughts . How can I afford to be negative when they love me in spite of my condition.

Positive attitude is my first medicine

Wish you good health
