Has anyone tried Keton Ester to improve PD symptoms?

“Ketone Ester Supplements. Taking ketone esters means you're getting the raw BHB ketone itself without any salts or other compounds bound to it. The benefit of esters is that the raw form allows the body to use the ketones more quickly, which can possibly raise blood ketone levels more.”

It’s available from the US but I think is very expensive. I contacted a team based in Oxford Uni about 8 months ago and they asked me if I’d be a tester for the British Version they they were working on. I agreed and they said that then they were ready they’d contact me, but nothing ever happened so sadly no, I haven’t had the luxury Kia.

Hi Adam

I checked Amazon and noticed they deliver to the UK ,I think, and the price for 3 bottles was $107. Yes its expensive but works 6 times better than MCT oil. Within 45 minutes the blood Ketone reaches 6mm. I also read reviews and some athletes said they didn’t notice any differences interms of their physical or mental performance.

Oh I’d go for it if you can afford it Kia. For sure. Each person is different and you might have a positive reaction eh? I think one benefit is that if you DO have a positive then you know Keto is right for you. I am coming to the conclusion that Keto does work for some but not others. And the pain is worth it if it works but getting into ketosis is such a drag via diet. Especially if you don’t know it works. But if the ketone boosts you, then I’d commit to the diet. Good luck. But then again I thought you were pretty symptom free? Do you need ketones?

Adam

I haven’t decided yet if I am going to take or not. I am doing semi-keto diet and interested in testing the Ketone Ester.I will do some research and update here if I started taking that.

Tried a 3 pack. Quite expensive. Felt mental clarity like a lifting. Too $$ to use regularly. That compound tested by dr. Veech for a wide variety of degenerative neurological conditions including PD. Issue is cost of manufacturing ester. Probably come down over next year or two.

Please can you let us know how much of a bottle and how often you took?

How about your symptoms? Any improvements?

Many thanks

Kia

It costs $100 for a 3pack. Really not long enough to notice anything other than increased clarity. Ketone salts and mcts may be helpful and considerably more affordable.
