I have had Parkinsons since December 2010 and started taking Pramipexole with no problems. It definitely helps keep my symptoms under control. About 4 years ago my symptoms started getting worse and my doctor started me on Carbodopa/Levadopa generic for Sinemet. I stared on a low dose for 3years with no problems that I was aware of. I have back pain sciactica issues and thought nothing of all my aches and pains I have had over the past few years. I recently saw my neurologist and was telling him about my leg pains and he thought it could be side effect from the carbo/levodopa. He decreased the dosage and im happy to say my leg pains are decreasing.I take it only 3 times a day instead of 4. Its been 2 months and I feel hopeful that I do not need so much meds. Less is more for me

I developed lower back pain as a result of leaning forward when I walked. Made a conscious effort to straighten up and the back pain resolved.
