Hello It seems to me there are a lot of recent studies that are pointing to a connection between gut biome and PD, but little mention of useful strategies to use as a treatments
1 What constitutes a healthy gut is there a test?
2.Are there any established protocols to restore an unhealthy gut to healthy gut?

It’s very complicated unfortunately. You restore your biome by cutting down on sugars, stress , alcohol etc then adding beneficial flora. But just because you do this doesn’t mean that your PD will automatically jump ship! The most interesting area to hope for is fecal transplants but as per usual the medical profession are somewhat slow in responding practically. I have made enquiries but these have not been approved of by the clinicians that I approached sadly. Currently they only offer it for Colostrum Difficile? which it is known to be successful for.
What is the latest on fecal implants?
I have never spent much time worrying about what caused my Pd. I think it was caused by having had 8 amalgam fillings (Mercury) in my teeth over a very short period of time in 1958 and 1959. Three years afterwards I started experiencing coordination problems. five years afterwards I became very constipated and seven years afterwards I was no longer able to write properly.
