Hi Ian, I can't open your vlog for some reason. I've left the site and then returned and tried again. Still no luck. Very disappointed because I always look forward to what you have to say. Is there another link I can try? :-)

youtube.com/watch?v=TH06y2x... is the direct link to the video. If this doesn't work, then the latest video is also in this playlist (right at the bottom) - youtube.com/playlist?list=P...

Hi Ian, well done.

I get my LDN from Dickson the chemist in Rutherglen. Recently they have been advertising CBD for sale. My understanding is that a small amount of THC is required in addition to be effective. Presumably CBD is legal, and THC is not; a bit like legalising petrol, but outlawing containers.

It is encouraging that a mainline chemist is moving outside the box however.

Regards,

Peter

Hi Peter

Thanks for your comment.

I understood you have to have a prescription for LDN? Do you feel that it has made a difference to your symptoms?

Many people gain relief from just CBD. I find that it does have an effect, but adding in some THC makes a big difference to me.

Cheers,

Ian

Hi Ian,

Dickson’s work in conjunction with doctors who are happy to prescribe LDN after a telephone interview.

Soon after starting LDN I reduced my ldopa from 3.9g/day to 2.1g/day, which is pretty awesome. My head is much clearer, although my tremor is about the same. Early days (6months) though. dx 3.5yrs.

Regards, Peter

So glad I was able to view this, Ian. Bless you. There have been various online programmes emanating fron the US and under the name 'The Sacred Plant'. It seems to have miraculous healing properties for a great many illnesses. PwPs need all the help they can get.

hI ian, what is it exactly that take i,m a bit confused,is it CBD oil that is available to buy over the counter or is it the herb itself with nothing removed,i,v had PD for 13 years now and the tremor is by far the biggest and debilitating problem i struggle to get it under control now and its very tiring.
