Entacapone

Hi I was weaned off Mirapexin due to spending issues and weaned on Entacapone. My partner said my mood swings on this were awful. I never felt lime me and felt mad and aggressive as if I wanted to murder someone!! Hence I've stopped it completely. Has anyone else had similar problems?? Only problem now is I'm suffering terrible with my legs at night!!

the night thing with your legs is the same for me. If you are having issues with Entacapone there are other meds you can use to replace it. You can use Carbadopa/levadopa extended tabs, Rytary , both have extender in them. You could also try another agonists like Ropinirole (Requip) it may not have the same effect as Mirapexin

I have gambling problems when i take ropinirole but i am going to keep taking them. I have been taken off all credit cards bank accounts and i have no access to any money.

I am 64 12 years with PD. I have lost about $20,000 over the last 5 years. Most people waste more than that on alcohol and parties. A lot of people eat out 2 times a week and if they pay $50 each time they go out they will have spent more than i have lost. I have won some too. There is a possibility i could win more than i spent. I have won $10,000 and $1,000 on scratch offs. I have $4,000 3 times at a casino. That is a small price to pay for the relief that i get from Ropinirole. I was off it for the last 5 weeks and my life has been hell for the last 2 weeks. I started it again 2 nights ago and i am doing great now.
