I've been diagnosed and prescribed meds for RLS however, my symptoms mimic PD. Doctor referred me for a neurology appointment. Not so much tremrs (I quit drinking the occasional glass of wine and even coffee but have noticed an increase in jerky movements I can't control - my hands and shaky fingers.

I'm petrified. I've upped my intake of Gabapentin to help with many legs but the last year, the sensations have reached my trunk, arms and even face. So, I can't wait to go to my appointment.

I'm glad to be here and welcome your feedback.

Tell us more about the jerky movements - one side or both? When at rest or when trying to do something?

It is important (critical I would say) that you see a movement specialist neurologist as soon as you can and get a firm dIagnosis. , If it is PD there are specific meds and actions you can take to mitigate the disease and its impact on your life. But first you need to know if it is or not.

Keep us posted.
