Back Pain associated with PD

I have recently been experiencing severe lower back pain when standing or trying to roll over in bed to get up. This seems to be worse since my neurologist increased my carbidopa levodopa to 2 pills (25-100) 4 times a day. Can this be the problem?

Hi I get this too but I do have a bulging disc in my lower spine. So not sure if it is related.

I too get the lower back pain and neck pain not consistently though. I don't want to increase my PD meds since taking too much medicine can have adverse affects. Then I wouldn't be really sure what was causing it. So I just take aspirin on the days it acts ups and that seems to help.

Topical magnesium may be helpful for back pain and stiffness. Here is a post on how to make and use it.
