Good spot. I find singing does help - I sing in the car on the way to work. The other thing that would probably help is singing in a group. Meeting other people and enjoying their company really helps parkies.

Yes, I sing in the shower to CD's , also there is a lady in Florida that has a radio program and puts out excellent CD's for pd patients. Look up Voice Aerobics on the web. I like her Songbirds disc. it has voice exercises that you sing! Happy day and keep singing.

That looks like fun! I've also recently discovered that if I go for a walk when feeling wobbly singing marching tunes helps me walk smoothly. Just wish I knew more songs than just When the saints come marching in!

Some good funky soul tunes work too: the meters, Eddie Harris etc help. 76 Trombones is good too

Try walking to music on your phone with a headset. It keeps me moving. My husband downloaded a ton of music on my phone.

I just went for the first time to an improv group sing. So much fun!!! Having fun is one of my goals for this year...

I am surprised that I missed this story. It is great though. Singing and simply listening as well to good songs has a positive effect on the mind. Positivity is all important.
