I was low on vitamin D and the family doctor gave me shock dose for 6 weeks. The hand tremor went away. After that I was taking daily low dose but at certain moment I stopped and now I started it again. Vitamin D cuts down stress and depression.

Yes I have this problem too. Noticed it well before being diagnosed with P.D. My vitamin D levels always show as fine on blood tests. Keep us posted if you get better by taking Vit. D!

Yes I had it quite a while before my diagnosis.

Balance as if slightly drunk is a symptom of progressive supranuclear palsy. Dudley Moore had this disease and everyone thought he was a drunk. Other symptoms are problems looking up and down and swallowing mechanism failures leading to fits of choking. A quieter speaking voice is another symptom. My father has psp.

Would you be able to say what you mean by ‘looking up and drawn”? Can’t do it or Doing it makes them dizzy.

This full vitamin D study suggests there is a correlation between vitamin D and balance in people living with PD. Looks like what you thought you observed is correct!

Thank you

My husband was a falling risk. He went to see a functional neurologist who "rerouted" his brain signals and is now ok. (so far)

This sounds a lot like me! I walk now with a walker, very woozy feeling, like I am drunk! Where are you and what is the name of the dr.?

Portland Oregon USA. Dr. Glenn Zielinski. He said if we had gone at the onset he could have fixed it. Sigh. Husband doing ACC protocol (for mercury poisoning) at the moment. We are both seeing glimmers of light, but it is a long haul. Good luck!
