I have been on low dose Naltrexone for about 3 years. It does seem to help with pain and makes your outlook on life brighter. I have not noticed any negative side effects. I did finally get a prescription from my NP for it. I dissolve a 50mg pill in 50 mL of water and use a dosing syringe. I used 3 ml of the liquid after shaking it well and you have to keep it in the refrigerator. My first neurologist would not prescribe it, I got it from a Canadian pharmacy through the mail. Don't need a prescription then. This is the cheapest way to go. Mary

Hi Mary,

My ND has asked me about LDN (if I've considered taking it, I haven't). I'm researching it here to see what people say. Do you still feel it is helpful? Or have you seen posts by anyone else that you recommend? I'd rather read through what has already been posted than start a new one.

Julie
