I just wondered what the thoughts are in the group on taking azilect and Lexapro. My Dr, neurologist, thanks it's okay, apparently, as do many others but I still read the scary literature about them being counter indicated. I take the Lexapro at night so is it safe to take the azilect in the morning? Lexapro 10 mg, azilect 5 mg. Any thoughts?

I take citalopram (Celexa), and rasagiline (Azilect). Both my neurologist and my psychiatrist are OK with the combination. They said serotonin syndrome is EXTREMELY rare and these combos are common. I wouldn't worry about it.
No trouble in this household.
