This is very interesting, Seven years ago a friend told me his father 75 had PD and cancer in the limp nodes that was not treatable and very fast growing and wide spread and would take only a few months to buy your ticket to the Pearly gate but that the doctors thought that the PD was somehow holding the Cancer in remission as they had experienced this before. He died five years later of the cancer but not in much pain.

It is also noted that another PD medication, Amantadene has only one other use which is in the treatment of a certain type of viral infection. It is said that PD users may be less susceptible to flu and viruses .

Unfortunately pneumonia caused by bacteria due to aspirated food will still be the number one way that Parkys will get that ticket punched to meet St. Peter.

(By the way I am still working on getting enough points to earn a "get out of hell free card" but it gets more and more difficult, I advise you to start early.)

I do wonder if the diagnosis of parkinson's leads to less cancer as those with it need to live healthier lives. You have to eat well and exercise or you get near instant feedback in worsened symptoms. I pretty much have to exercise every day and I just have to sniff* a biscuit and I can see it in my face and experience it with increased tremors overnight

* okay the sniffing may be followed by scrunching and munching.
