Creatine with CoQ10

Has anyone tried these together? I've read that together, they could be neuroprotective. However, mixing coffee with creatine is really bad and could enhance progression. I'm confused. I though coffee was beneficial for PD.?

I thought creatine is in coffee

No, creatine is not in coffee but it is created in the body by 2 amino acids, glycine and arginine. Creatine consumed with coffee will boost performance of athletes, and perhaps the brain too. Creatine by itself is a food for the brain.

If creatine fixes parkinsons, why are we taking the meds given by our doc's??

I don't have Parkinson's and I am just reading this blog :) But if I have, I will try to use nutrition and supplements first before having to resort to med. I think that CoQ10 will top the list, followed by MCT oil and fish oil, followed by creatine, resveratrol, magnesium, zinc, curcumin and the list goes on. I already take those supplements despite having no serious symptoms. For coQ10, try this brand because I find it as the best.

I take creatine for muscle recovery incidentally, and co q10 for energy. I didnt know creatine had any neuroprotective benefits. I just add it to my whey protein isolate drink because i want to mimic whats in immunocal platinum. My personal disease progression has beem slow though, luckily.
