Rotigotine patch

My Neurologist has advised me to have a Rotigotine Patch increased to 4mg

after two weeks, I already take Sinemet plus 25/100 , any thoughts on this,

Sinemet plus is dopamine as is madopar and the patch an agonists and they work on separate receptors. The patch is safe and the maximum dose is 16mg.

I would follow your neurologist's advice. I went from 2mg to 4mg in the same 2 week period and it has worked well for me.

In what way did it help you ruffinglgo,

Strong walking gait. Hand strength. I also increased supplements including D3. The more I could walk swim and engage in other daily exercises the stronger I became and I did not experience the side effects. After 2 years my neurologist advises Azilect. Or I could up Neupro dosage to 6mg. I chose Azilect. The 1mg dose also improves gait and stability - for me.

I have had very good results with the patch, but I will say that it took a good 3 months before I really felt it. I'm on 4mg right now. My gait, overall coordination, and ability to move has improved greatly. I'm also on sinement.
