Thanks for this inspiring post. I have read many times in the Parkinson's literature where individuals say, "I may have Parkinson's, but Parkinson's DOES NOT have me!" You seem to be a radiant example of this!

A wonderful example of Newtons First Law.

I agree that giving up work - something which gives most people purpose in life is probably a bad idea. For others in the same position at best think about going down to 4 days a week. But the more social contact with PD the better, and work provides that.

I agree to many people who get diagnosed think there life has stopped shut them self's away and slowly disintegrate but there is life after its just every day you have to make little a dustmen to accommodate your partner in crime Mr pd

Hi. Did you walk?

Yes. Outside early for about an hour. I walk with trekking poles. Start out a bit unsteady but usually improve. My initial PD symptoms were unsteady gait and dizziness. As I look back at my diagnosis on 2014 I can remember right hand weakness in 2012. We are warriors in the Race for A Cure!
