Sleeping all the time

My husband has PD diagnosed Feb. 2012. He had and active period about a month ago where he would get up and then push himself to get things done around the house. Then he got a stomach bug that lasted 3 days. Since then he has stayed in bed almost round the clock. Mostly sleeping when he does wake up he is nauseous and keeps throwing up.

also his blood pressure which was high,[on meds for] has been super low as low as 45 for the bottom number.

I am wondering is this a sudden acceleration of the PD. Anyone else have this scenario?

No Arwen,

That is not the normal progression of pd. That low blood pressure will make him feel awful and is worrying. He needs to be reassesed. Has he stopped his BP medication?

It is my recommendation that a movement disorders neurologist specialist be consulted soon, Arwenmark, so that these symptoms can be properly evaluated. I have Diagnosed PD and sometimes my blood pressure is lower than normal, and, I take naps once a day and can't sleep well at night, sometimes; however, I don't stay in bed most of the day.

nothing has changed, perhaps the throwing up is worse, can't keep anything including his meds down.

Have to wait now till Monday to try and make him an apt. and I am not sure whether to get apt. with primary care, who is a medical assistant, or with his neurologist. He is to the point now that he can't even sit up, he is too weak and just falls over.

He absolutely refuses to go to the hospital, and I can't blame him last time they did not give him his meds on time or at all many times and he was really bad, they did nothing to help him at all. Of course that time he was having hallucinations.
