A friend told me that she has a tremor in hand. The neurologists has told her to take B12 to stop the tremor. Don't think she has PD but she Wondered if it might help. Any one have info on this. Oh by the way it stopped her tremor. Thanks

B12 deficiency can cause tremors. May be the deficiency showed up on her B12 blood test and that's was the reason to try it first. Many older people, especially vegeterians have B12 deficiency without realizing it.

How much B12 and how often, do you know?

Hi Becky unfortunately I don't have any other details.

A blood specialist told me that the body can store enough B12 for 4 years. People really deficient in B12 are likely to be long term vegans, alcoholics because alcohol blocks the B vitamins, or people who avoid B vitamins because they block their medication. I have my B vitamins at night because they clash with Sinemet.
