Hi Bailey

Yeah . The lyrics are so simple and innocent .

Reminds me of the world before it went mad.

The words are so apt with P D .

Thanks Bailey

God Bless you.

Delightful song, Park Bear! But the auditory can, and should, stand on its own without all the visual embellishment. It bespeaks lack of confidence in the material when musical producers feel the need to throw in visual fireworks. And, at some level, the viewer/listener realizes this. Can you post a version without all the eye candy?

I searched youtube and could not find a version without eye candy. Search is complicated by there being more than one song with that title: youtube.com/results?search_...

All I can say is either have at it and see what you can find or just put up another window while the video is playing.

Bailey and Park-Bear, Appreciate your endeavors! I look for a video where the lyrics are enunciated clearly because my hearing is not so good. An early rendition , circa 1970, of "everlasting love" by Carl Carlton has a lot of "soul" in my opinion:

Yep, I know longer care about surround sound. I watch everything closed caption. As long as there is no time delay.

Closed captions will take care of my ear problem. The eye is another item. I still have on occasion a mysterious urge to strangle webmasters who resort to light-grey lettering on white backgrounds, dark purple on black, or similar atrocities. What are these blockheads thinking!?

I love folk music, Thank you. I have never heard that song before, maybe one of our latest folk songs if you want to call it that.

It is at this time a very heart breaking song for me. Since i retired 2 years ago my youngest grand baby has been my shadow. We kept her 10 hours a day. She went everywhere with me. We played outside every day come rain or shine. She starts school this year i will see her very little. She is the last one we will keep. We have had grand babies in our house daily for 20 years. We are now empty nesters. I fight back the tears every day. Her name is Abby. But maybe in 3 or four years we may start keeping a great grand baby. It would be the child of my oldest grand baby. We where told this yesterday. My wife has her reservations but for me bring it on it keeps me young.

Loving life and my kids

I know just how you feel. All three of my kids have now left home and I miss them so much! They are the best company anyone could want. One daughter is in New York, another is studying at UC Santa Barbara -- at least I do see my son, who lives only a half and hour away, from time to time. But it's not like before. We had a funny, fun, close family life.

I started researching volunteer work in the area ... I'll let you know how it goes.

OR rent a big cottage for two weeks and invite them all, go to Disneyland pick up some expense, move closer to the first one that is buying baby stuff . What I am saying is be proactive, have what you want. I sense that you are drifting away and each to his own. Maybe just my Spidy sense again. I think it would take you a lot of time to get used to living on " The Rock " if ever. You come from away.

I guess I am not there yet.. I tell my kids that I can't miss them until they leave.

One of my mother's favourite.

I love this, I like to talk to people. What drives you, interest and music especially.

Some times it can get dry like toast.

The first video ever produced and I saw it first on the Midnight Special.

I was blown away, I was 11

I have really been waxing nostalgic lately. I miss the simpler time in music.

This was my favorite song of 1965. I was one and all was fine, in my baby mind.
