HOW can we use this concept in PD?

The John Pepper method requires to switch TO conscious walking for example not away from it like this video suggests. Maybe this works for auto-immune disorders better.

The people that have managed to beat PD with activity are exploiting conscious pathways to replace the automated ones (muscle memory) that relate to the neurons that are destroyed with PD.a

I believe that J.P. has learned to keep his walking in the conscious brain but can not get it to the deeper subconscious. I think the reason people get old because everything hurts, even thinking. You become ether apathetic or you live your life in pain and discomfort. How many of you sit and play Candy Crush ( or something similar ) all day. It shuts down the brain that takes in tons of info and processes it, to loosing yourself into a hour long " where did the time go. I do believe the two are connected some how. It is not a matter of being right or wrong, "or where he grips it".

@ QNTT,

Another way to skin a cat short of . . . what?

There was a typo there (caR=caT) and "short of" as in kind of. That's why sentences should not end with a preposition. Had I written it as follows you would not be wondering about the meaning: "Short of another way to skin a cat" .

I am still analyzing this data but it sounds like there is some truth to this theory. I am constantly switching channels in my brain. The ability for my brain to categorize information into prioritizing info into what is worth keeping data or dismiss it. Things like walking should be so ingrained into our subconscious we should never have to think again. Also I love being in the flow. Following deep rabbit holes and pitting myself in competition produces dopamine. I am getting rewarded for uncovering secret or hard to see information or beating some kid who has a proper working brain.

This would also explain why I get so irritated when that flow is interrupted. Shopping, sex, gambling are cheap easy ways to get the high but to get into the flow I find much more rewarding and perhaps why my physical abilities are easily kept in control with medication. Forget about the lime disease.

Thank you. Looks very interesting.

I get into these Flow States much easier than I use to. I have always asked why are a lot of the musicians very successful in the take off of their career but end up playing their 30 year old hits and not new ones. My take is that the older we get the less of these chemicals our brains produce, perhaps we get less creative. No High no effort.
