Pyrethroids such as permethrin were thought to be nontoxic but they have been shown to cause PD. Permethrin is the ingredient in common houshold flea bombs. More on that here: dailykos.com/story/2016/09/...

Thank you Ian for another good vlog! I grew up on a farm next to an orchard that literally got us damp with insecticide and pesticide when the farmer sprayed his trees and our well was right next to his orchard. We also ate his fruit all the time without washing it. This was the fifties. Who knew?! My sister got Addison's disease years ago. Related? I don't know.
