Antihistamines and sinemet

Can you take antihistamines with sinemet? I get terrible spring time allergies. At the moment I'm getting this post nasal drip.Its really uncomfortable

Best to ask at the pharmacy I think.

I do. I have to as I get very sick from allergies. I take low dose sinemet 3x25 a day. I take reactine but break them in half. I would ask your Doctor but for me it's been okay.

You can take Zyrtec. I asked pharmacist and doctor, when I had cold.

yes. One of the more common antihistamines, benadryl, is used together with sinemet (carbidopa/levodopa) by some patients. I have done that myself. The side effect is you will want to take a nap, so if you do that take a small dose of benadryl, say half a dose or a children sized dose.
