The No-Fall Mantra

Falling can be avoided during those night time, bathroom trips. One of the faults leading to falling is lack of focus. A mantra or saying would provide a transition from sleep to awakedness and allow for the balance required.

HMmmmmmmm.

Fjohn1, I love it!! How about a single word mantra? How about "NAKEDFULNESS"?

You're so right about the focus. I keep a cane hanging on the door handle close to my bed. After I stand up, I take the cane off the door handle and use it to walk to the bathroom. I think the sound of the cane landing on the floor with each step, together with the slight vibrations that come through the cane with each step, help me to focus my walking. And, hanging it on the door handle keeps it off the floor where I might trip over it.
