Rhythm, Key to Balance and Life

I used to have trouble with "tests" given by movement disorder doctors. For example, the dreaded "one foot in front of the other" test.

My PT taught me that...

1. Its fun

2 Look at something in the distance

3. Swing my arms

4. Hum a little tune

5. Smile

Sort of like life!

At least do it with rhythm and style. Right?

Oh lord how I hate that test! I mean, it's not exactly a normal thing you would do everyday, so naturally you falter, and with all eyes on me I get very self-conscious. These are great tips!

I am like you! Those tests are a lose-lose outcome. Somehow I think that if I pass, I will not be PD anymore.

Talk about pressure and stress!
