Yes or No, you have diagnosed PD and also occasionally experience ocular migraine. My response is "yes"

MY OCULAR MIGRAINE IS ALWAYS A SIDEWAYS "V" FORMATION OF A FLICKERING LIGHT SHOW AND IT MOVES ACROSS MY FIELD OF VISION, TO THE LEFT (FROM RIGHT TO LEFT) AND IT IS GONE WITHIN 15 MINUTES. I've had that light show for years, it occurs now and then and it started years before a sign that i was getting PD. Have wondered was that an early indicator. It hasn't gotten worse over the years, always the same visual phenomenon, like a colorfully lit up flying formation of tiny migrating geese slowly flying across in my field of vision

Mine are always in the shape of a C . It starts small and eventually grows to encompass full vision. It is always on one side but not the same side. You described it well. I too call it my light show. Before these started I had very painful migraines that last all day. There is no pain for me with the light show.

No pain ever for me too. My previous, first ever Neuro (not the FAT PRIG that broke up with me over an Azilect dosage order) said that's the way ocular migraines present, non-painful, minor, brief visual disruption.

Yes. They improved on taking sinemet, and are largely a light show. Before they were all out down on the floor in the dark migraines. If I am non complaint they start to return.

Yes....had ordinary migraines for years and have just started ocular ones. I have been dx PD 3 years.

Ocular headache yes, migraine no. A migraine will last for days and is considerably worse. This is from about a half hour to an hour and a half after each Sinemet. It's bad but it's not a migraine... I know.

Yes—complex patterns, a few per month, ever since I was a young child. Some take over my entire vision for as much as 20 minutes.

I Wonder, does the constellation or list of symptoms used by neurologists in determining a probable PD diagnosis include ocular migraine? I did not expect so many "yes" responses. Does anyone have access to a diagnostic manual to lookup if ocular migraine is included for PD? Wouldn't it be hilarious (not really) if ocular migraine was not considered a neurological marker for early PD but it is actually the earliest marker of the disease presenting itself, one the medical community never acknowledged? I am so ready to figuratively burn physicians. I need to get a grip. :)

Yes, I have PD and maybe once or twice a year get an aura, usually without cephalalgia, consisting of a scintillating herring-bone pattern which makes it impossible to read or drive for about 5 minutes until the ocular migraine clears. Had the headache with the aura a few times but never severe and usually no cephalalgia.

That's what I see, a herring bone pattern, which I likened to a flock of geese in migratory formation
