Hello Palace69

My legs do this and i just get up and walk around. I also have that feeling a lot like i need to be doing something constructive. I call it got to go and iI do i take a walk or wash the cae and it passes after a while. I take benadryl at night to help me sleep and a dose of Requip if i have restless leg.Hope this helps

I take a sleeping pill now and again. 6 hrs of joy!

A sleeping pill is part of my daily med schedule. There is also clonazepam, it shuts down the brain, ask your doctor whats right for you.

I take Trazodone 100mg nightly, it is both an anti-depressant and a sleep aid.

Are you taking adequate levodopa? Before I was adequately medicated I suffered day/night sleep reversal.

Personally, I have trouble with sleep, including gettting just a few hours. Turned out to be a REM disorder.rather than Restless Leg. Neurologist treats with 10 mg Maltonon.

these sleep problems are just part of being alive! I don't have PD, but every now and again I have a problem with sleeping, especially if I have been inactive during the day. Having PD does not stop you having the same problems as the rest of us - the PD just gives you extra!

Before I go to bed I make a list of what I hope! to accomplish the next day. When I have the compulsion to get up, I often do and get at least one thing started or off the list. Then back to bed as a usual thing. Doesn't always works. Does some times.

Hi Palace. I have lived with this since 1974, 42 years. I found that if I get up, when I am unabble to sleep, and either read a book, listen to music, watch TV or work on my computer, I a able to go back to sleep when I feel sleepy again. It is much better than gettng all worked up, because I cannot sleep. I have taken the agro out of it. I get a lot of work done and sleep whenever I am able to.
