I'm 36 and was diagnosed PD 5 years ago. Presently I'm on C/L 25/250, 1 tablet every 2 hours. I can't do anything until I take d med. Only sleep btw 30mins to 1hr at various times at night since I have to wake up to take d med. As soon as d effects of the drug wears off, I become stiff, can barely move or do anything. Please I need help.

No. My blood pressure has always been normal. Not high or low

You need the controlled release ("CR") or extended release ("ER") version of C/L. Makes all the difference!

Thanks. I'll give it a try.

How do you control protein intake with the extended release?

I just eat a little bit of protein whenever the mood strikes - about the amount of a single egg, or chicken nugget.

There is always a sleeping pill ask your doctor.

Shege 1 wakes up I n o r d e r to take the pill. Sudden withdrawal, quite apart from the disabling rigidity, would risk a dangerous reaction. Stopping medicine when one is on a two hour regime is not an option.

Ever two hours even through the night? When I was going through a very painful time the best part of the day was taking that sleeping pill. Ahh to turn off my brain ( magic time ).

Must be hard. Waking so often, you won't be getting any deep sleep - and we need deep sleep. Good quality sleep can really help, in lots of ways. It might be worth while looking us up at Zeez Sleep Pebble - our device is designed to help deep sleep. Best Wishes, Anna
