HI My life partner (husband) past away 4 months ago today, Leaving me to deal with so much and having Parkinson also, it just feels like I m wading in mud. I m moving to an apartment the end of Aug, having to give our yellow lab Buddy to a good friend ( he can't go with to the apartment) Makes my heart break more. SO I m sharing our 25th wedding anniversary photo Taken at our farm We would have had 27 yrs in April but hubby's heart did not make it. I don't have much to say just wanted to share with someone My life is going backwards fast. However I m a survivor much like we all are, Life is tough but I will be fine, just hard to see how sometimes. Thanks! Kadie

I am so sorry , please accept my condolences. The beautiful photo that you have shared, looks to me like you have had wonderful memories. Giving your dog to a good friend is hard, but your friend is probably feeling honored to know you chose her to take your precious dog.I know this must be quite hard right now, but try to look at the new future move you are making for yourself.

I asked my mother-in-law how she dealt with loosing her husband. She stated she had good and bad days, but as time past, when she began feeling sad, she would think of the times her husband upset her and then she would be able to move on with good thoughts and not feel sad.

Everyone grieves differently and just be yourself. I pray that You continue to fight and be the best that you can be. I care.

Thank you for your kind words, some days are better than others, and when I think to much I just must get up and get busy.

The dog looks so cute with that kerchief on! And the three of you look very happy in this pic. When your partner goes it can leave you feeling like you're floating in space with no moorings. It may not sound like much of a consolation, but fwiw, you have us -- and we can all relate to some degree. When your heart feels so heavy, you can't imagine yourself laughing or enjoying yourself or the company of other people again, but I'm here to tell you that amazingly enough, you do. P.S. Do you really have to part with your dog?

Life can definitely throw us lemons sometimes...but women are strong...your loss willl heal in time...stay active...talk to friends...take up a hobby. Now you need to take care of yourself.

Kadie, I am so sorry you have to go through this. We all do though and it's a sad time for you right now. My mom just died 2 weeks ago and we lost or dog of 11 years a month ago. I will keep you in my prayers and may the angels surround you with love and protection and keep you safe. I keep thnking of the times my mom, my son, and i shared in Italy, Sea World, and going to the Shrine of our Lady of the Island. Good luck to you! ♡♡

I'm sorry for you loss - I hope you will be able to visit with your "Buddy" sometimes. There is obviously something yet for you to do while you are still here. Blessings to you.

The apartments where I m moving allow up to 20 lb dogs and as you see Buddy Boy is slightly over the rule LOL There are people there, a meal-site for low income, it has a cleaning person & maintenance person, laundry on site, My key thing is not being allow total, I know it sounds harsh to part with him but where the dog is going , he ll be in the country as he was before we sold the farm and he knows the people. I just worry as we all do about the what if's Thank you so much for caring.

So sorry your having to go through this Kadie. I do understand how you feel as I have an elderly dog and am seriously thinking of down sizing. So many things can change sometimes suddenly.

As you are in a complex with others nearby you will find new friends I am sure.

Take care, you will be in my thoughts. sending a hug.

Thinking of you, God bless you, and keep you positive. You are very brave, it must take an awful lot of courage to move on, without your dear hubby, and your lovely baby boy.

I hope you get to see your baby boy as much as possible, it will bring you both great pleasure, and be a big look forward.

I am sure you will make new friends when you move, and I wish you all the luck in the world💗💗💗

My heart aches for you, Kade but you will get through this very difficult time. Your hustand will always be with you and would want you to do all that you can to live a full life. Perhaps you can find a group to help you with your loss and with the PD. I worry every day about my husband's declining health but try to stay positive. Wishing you many blessings
