I've been a little worried lately about how I tend to cough when I swallow something like a liquid that trickles down my throat . It happens almost always when I eat an orange for example and sometimes even the liquid from chewing gum seems to sort of gag. I've read that PD can lead to problems swallowing so I'm hoping this isn't what I'm experiencing. I'd love to hear from others who might experice this.

I've had swallowing problems from sinemet. When I am "off" I have no problem swallowing.
I had swallowing problems before Sinemet. If you read about the symptoms of Parkinson's, that is one of the main ones.
