Monday I underwent the first stage of DBS at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland. The procedure is done under full anesthesia utilizing a previous MRI and a small cat scan during surgery to accurately target the treatment site that for me was the Globus pallidus internus. During the prep phase I managed to convince the nursing staff to convince dr DR Burchiel to include the PMOS ... Perpetual multiple orgasm site. Unfornately I don't know if he followed my request yet since the stimulator won't be installed till this Friday and then won't be programmed for the next 2-4 weeks. Here's hoping!
He did say that the procedure went exceptionally well in just 1 hour and 45 minutes. I still have a significant headache but it has mainly been managed through Tylenol and only 5 hydrocordones, the smallest dose. Interestingly, I have not had any dystonia pain in my feet since.

Did you have gpi because of dystonia? I have had dbs, mainly to help the dystonia in my left leg and foot. It's been almost a year and we still haven't got it to where I want it to be/
