Hi everyone ,

Since a week and 4 days ago I've switched from madopar dispersable to 50mg to capsules and once a day azilect 1mg , and 2mg patch x does this take a while to settle down the change over in meds?

I still have dispersble but for quickness if needed

Dear Joe41. What are the symptoms you are still bothered by?

Again, it is one of these things where we are all individual in our responses to pd and medications so there could very well be some improvements to come. However you might need to understand it is possible that not all the symptoms will disappear completely. Rather, they should reduce to a level which allows you to live a relatively good life.

Once you are as well conterolled as possible then the exercise and other therapies wil take you forward.

Best wishes.

Hi soup,

I think I just gotta get timings right for next dose , from when I take the azilect in the morning I'm not sure how long that takes to kick in , cause cause I'm finding ill have my meds and when the azilect kicks in i will feel a bit over and just feel a bit woozy / unbalanced ,.

Also where I was coming off patches I've sat down too much cause of I felt so rough , so now I feel weak legs etc , I need to strengthen them and get walking around without holding on to things

When I first started taking Azilect, I could tell a big difference after the third day.

Hi susie01

I'm starting to notice a difference, meds are lasting longer and a bit more smoothed out and I've only been on them 2 weeks today , I have had no side effects , which is a bonus!

Azilect I recommend you all try it within the first two days I had an amazing improvement in my symptoms "on"all day no "off" times at all tremor settled down cancelled my DBS surgery felt so good still having great results after using Azilect for 3 months little bit of Dyskenesia but manageable hope it keeps on maybe not every one will have same results but it's worth a try I also take Madapar Comtan and have 14 gm neuro patches have been on them for some 18 mths Keep positive Sunnysky
