Hi can any one tell if they have taken stalivo and had good results with it.I have been changed from madapar thankyou.

My mom was taking stalevo for 4 years or so and it was working very good for her. Now she seen a different dr. And he change it for different mlg of carbidopa. And levodopa

I was changed to Stalevo about 4 months ago after being on Madopar for about 11 years. I also take Rasageline, Mirapexin and citalopram. I had been experiencing wearing off symptoms . The changeover went very well and apart from some nausea I have not experienced any side effects. I am now feeling much better in myself.

Thanks Anthonyian, I definitely need to try something different, I have no good days, my bid problem now is breathing rapidly{shortness of breath , some swallowing, ironically it happens after I eat mostly. My dr. has no suggestions. I do have RA,Cll{chronic leukemina} and some copd. Have lots of anxiety. My PD meds are 5 or 6 25/100 sinemet, neupro-4mg every 24 hts. What isPremipexole,madapar?

What is rasgeline and the other drugs you mention, I take it you are in the UK.

That is for sure.I thought he was bleeding at first. Even at a dose of 200mg of Stavelo or levodopa, carbidopa and entacapone 6x a time he is just not holding at all.It is now going on 3:25 est USA he is walking and talking underwater and feels horrible.Plus,the cost is killing us, It is over $700.00 a month just for that not counting his other meds and my stuff. Our son is helping but that is not fair to him.

Another option is to have regular carbidopa/levadopa and add entacopone as a separate drug. May be cheaper.

There was a mixup with Dr and he called in a lesser amount of the combination and hubby is a mess.As soon as I get this straightened out I am asking pharmacy about what you suggested.Thank you ever so much.

The cost is horrendous is there no help with your medication costs, my meds are free because we are pensioners.

Thank you so very much for this information.My husband applied for ExtraHelp but have not heard anything.I am going to call and see what I can find out.Once again I thank you from the bottom of my heart as these prescription costs are making us choose between food and our prescriptions.

Thank you will need them.LOL I have my fingers crossed. He does so well on the Stalevo with Azilect with one dose that I hate to see him have to give anything else up, He has already stopped taking his Mirapex.

I have taken Stalevo for quite a while. I also take Requip (Ropinerole), and Trihexyphenidyl and half Sinemet during the night. This combination seems to work for me. but it took a while to put together.

I take 5 times a day 75mg stalivo and 1.83 premipexole and bedtime 125mg slow release madapar.

My husband takes stalevo200 every three hours and azilect with second dose, We have had to cut back on azilect due to cost as the stalevo is killing us cost wise,

I have had good results with stalevo. The only problem for me is that is causes dry mouth.
