Is anyone attending the World PD conference this year? It's in Portland OR this year. (Montreal, Canada, last year). Where are you coming from?

It's not this year, it is in 2016. Google World Parkinson Congress 2016 for more info.

Yes, John and I will be going. We are travelling from the UK and making a holiday of it, so any good ideas for sightseeing and excursions will be gratefully received.

The Fourth WPC will be in Portland, OR Sept 20-23, 2016. Please note the year. It happens every fourth year, not annually.

not sure how to change my original post but have noted my error within the post. I regret the error, of course.

No regrets, good prior publicity! Here is the website which is frequently updated and there is a facebook page too.

There is a scientific update by webcast coming soon. Looks really interesting.

thanks Hikoi.

Why don't you post this info as a separate update to mine?

A good idea. Get stuck in Hikoi. Drum up the customers.

yes, I need to delete this and start again. It's misinformation at this point.

Had hysterectomy at age 43 after 2 children. Diagnosed PD at age 82, after breaking hip 4 years earlier (and good recovery. )

Had no recognizable symptoms of PD at all until waking from fall at age 82.

as people get older they can get PD type symptoms and

not actually have it (fully). Anyway, it probably doesn't make

much difference. I don't think I've heard of anyone

who woke up from a fall with PD symptoms.

Good luck.

By the way the World PD Conference is in 2016/
