I think my stimulator may be turned up too high because I started having some new type of dystonia after beginning lifting weights. What is the best way to make sure you have the right amount of stimulator amplitude or pulse width for therapeutic benefit?

Hi,
The best way is to talk to your Doc.
My main aim in sending this reply is something else. After I had the DBS, I had my physio. When she moved my hands up and down, the batter pack started peeping out. I had to have another surgery. So be careful in weight lifting.
Good that yu have seen your doctor. You may hve to see him at east once in 3 months.
My physio stretched and folded my hands when i was lying down. That caused the skin and muscles near the battery open. My daughter in law, a surgeon had warned me in advance that the body tries to throw any foreign body and this exercise helped it
