So very true. Just caught me on bad day. My biggest fear is broken ankles. Had one two years ago.

hope you're OK. In addition to prayers, get physical therapy for your gait and balance and also take a class for PWP's like yoga, alexander technique, or NIA. In our classes we always work on techniques to prevent falling down and how to recover. Every week someone reports how they ALMOST fell but saved themselves. Often it's me

I fell once again last night! I have a significant other that is just GREAT! He picks me up and we go from there! I am also sick of falling!

.I'm praying for you....sending big hugs. PD can really get to you some days. It's Easter and everyone seems to be out and about in the sunshine except for me as I am having a really shaky, negative day tinged with pain and isolation. I'm focusing on the Easter message of hope and resurection as I just know some days are better than today and a cure may be on the horizon. Did you hurt yourself? I feel for you in this setback and send you love.

I drug myself to church this morning. My faith us what keeps me going. Called PA on call at my orthopedic doctors wanted me to go ky ER fir X-rays get splint if needed come in Monday. Since I have boot from last time just wearing if elevating and icing. Will go in the morning. Thanks for encouragement.

I fell in the bathroom a few hours ago,,,back got scrapped,,,,hurt my feelings..I, too, am tired of losing my balance! Every time I visit a Duke doctor,,,they always ask 'have you fell in the past 90 days?' On this Friday I was gonna be able to say NO! Well, Now I will have

to wear their 'yellow risk bracelet'. Coco71, I sincerely hope all is well with you.You are in my prayers.

Got my second opinion at Duke from a very hateful dr who has since retired. Started seeing doctor at university of

Louisville. He has since moved to Roanoke, VA so see him there bid.

Coco...prayers are with you. Are you going through pd alone? Do you have DBS? Husband was falling up to 5-7times a day. Has broken collar bone. Finally got new batteries in DBS unit and was able to program so that he no longer falls. Please speak to your physician..I down right insist and get in their face until they help my husband. He is all I have.... They do not know what you are going through. Hugs.

My orthopedic doctor see me tomorrow. Have elevated it, iced it, put in splint from previous injury. Think bad sprain but will know fir sure tomorrow. Have high pain tolerance last ankle I broke I walked on it for few days.
