A friend has offered me colloidal silver - has anyone found a benefit from this or can it interfere with Parkinson medication ?
I have. I used it for allergies, awesome. Did not interfere with my meds at all. Noticed gen health improvement.
Silver is a natural antibiotic I have used in a throat spray for stopping a cold/sinus/sore throat in the early onset of feeling ill. IT WORKED GREAT, I had no problems with my PD medicine meds. I use Sinement reg & Sinement CR and a 8 mg daily nuerpro patch .
Very little evidence that colloidal silver is effective. For what condition did you want to take it? You couldn't pay me to take it.
Thank you for your reply and I'm interested to know why you couldn't
be paid to take it. My friend swears by it andmakes it for friends and
family and thinks I would see a general health benefit, however I'm a
bit wary despite all the good reviews. Sure I've read somewhere
not reccommended for neurological problems. Thanks again.

Colloidal silver has been used as an antiviral-antibacterial compound. There are clothes now that you can buy that have the silver threads integrated into the fabric that inhibits bacteria formation. Outdoor activity like back packing, mountin climbers, runners etc have used the technology. To ingest it you would have to take large quantities to turn bluish by the deposition of silver in the tissues. Can use it to dropper the water based silver into the nasal cavity to prevent sinus infection, can use topically on sores, and swallowed for temporary anti viral /bacterial acute disorders. Google it and read up.Expensive to buy and can make it yourself.

Be careful with colloidal silver, depending on the process used to make it, it can cause your skin to turn grey, permanently. Little or no evidence that any benefit will out weigh the risk. Where you are getting it from is very important to how safe it is.
