It did for me. Only took 3 hours. I thought it was a miracle.

So what happened after 3 hours?

I went from freezing and shuffling to walking real well. My balance improved big time.

Excellent But you seem to be saying that after 3 hours a single dose treated your shuffling forever. This seem svery unlikely if not impossible. So waiting for 3 hours your "freezing and shuffling to walking real well. My balance improved big time". then what happened?

Every day in every way I am getting better! I used to have more bad days than good. Now I have more great days than bad. Of course I exercise 2-3 times a day, 5 days a week. I eliminate all stress, the best I can. I express my gratitude in my prayers multiple times a day. I eat a lot of fruit & vegetables.

I've been on Amantadine and I don't have any freezing problems. I'm also on Mirapex. It's worth a try. I haven't experienced any bad side effects, except swollen ankles. Blessings.

Thanks for your replies. I was on amantadine and madopar. Then I came off amantadine and was put on reprinerole. My balance seemed to get worse and I don't think I was any better on reprinerole. Now my neuro suggest I go back on amantadine which I agree with but first I have to wean myself off of reprinerole and madopar. Perhaps I'll get the right pills eventually. It's all a case of trial and error. I just wondered what other people thought of amantadine. You've re-assured me thankyou!
