I am chilling tonight and enjoying my book 'confessions of a gp' and have eaten too much rubbish. Out with friends tomorrow night. Went shopping today and felt really wobbly on my left (bad) side. I suppose this is to be expected wehey - this will not get the better of me, and i am still smiling :)I am going to go for a really long walk tomorrow and loosen everything up hopefully. Have a lovely weekend everyone xx

I am going to take advantage of our beautiful weather induced good mood, as well as a relaxed foot (tonight anyway), and try to get some much needed housework done. Then relax with a movie and a glass of diluted wine. :)

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend no matter where you are and what your weather.

Hi Andy,

This weekend I'm doing housecleaning - getting my exercise by vacuuming, doing the laundry, combing the cats, etc. I also have my ongoing indoor winter projects - one is scanning all my Dad's WWII photos online (that's a big one). Where do you take your kids for indoor swimming? Here in the States it's either a YMCA, a JCC, or a health club if they have an indoor pool. You'll have a blast with them I'm sure !

enjoy,

Clifford

Weather here is very cold. Will be taking the dogs out shortly. Having my two kids and two grandchildren for lunch - just cold snacks. Then don't know what to do this afternoon. Will depend on the weather.

Tomorrow fell into the trap of doing full roast dinner for above family and daughter in law. Hope they all get on!! Will be exhausted and always say never again, but must taste ok as they keep coming back.

Have a lovely day with your kids, Andy. I know you always do. By the way, can you still swim? I have difficulty in getting my legs down and have to have something solid to hold onto. Was never much of a swimmer but this happened once in the sea and had to be rescued!!

How can we say no to a grandchild visiting? :)

Well it's Saturday morning, husband with Parkinson's has gone fishing on a boat from Newquay, (Cornwall, UK) and what am I doing? I am trying to find the carpet and desk in the study. I have a rather loose system of filing which we call 'the first available surface' system and now it has come to the crunch. I'm sure we did have a carpet... :o

That is sooooo funny. I am sitting at my computer desk pushing paper back to keep it from falling off thinking of what to tackle first! I know it should be the paperwork, but I hate doing it. My hands don't work too well anymore and it frustrates me. Thanks for starting my day with a laugh!

Hi Andy,

I'm back from a fantastic trip to Savannah, GA and planning on chilling the remainder of the weekend. I hope you have a fun day with your children. You're making lifetime memories....soak up every moment because they grow up so fast!

Cheri :)

Love Savannah, I have not been for several years but I love trees and they have some remarkable ones there!

I am slowly feeling better, my son is suppose to come this afternoon for a visit, not sure if I should subject him to my flu bug but do enjoy the time we can spend together...

I will let you know about Tuesday depending on how I feel then. Have a great weekend, ~Susie~

I'm amazed at all the activity you people do. I don't do anything like the things you talk about, I'm just too tired and feel so weak that I like to sit all day. I do try to do some exercises every day.

Blogging. Hanging out with my daughter. Going to the gym. Looking around the apartment for all of the sleep I lost.

If you find the sleep you lost, will you share your secret? I could use a little sleep myself. :)

Joe, let us know if you find it! I'm sure it must be in a dust bunny somewhere, or was that a hallucination?!?!

Hi everyone :-)

Thanks for all your comments on here. I`m home now after spending day with my kids, had a fantastic time, enjoyed the swimming....even though they all tried to "drown" daddy lol :-D I take them to a local leisure centre about 20 mins drive away...they absolutely love it! we spent rest of day playing games and reading.....I ache all over now....not cos of PD but just from the swimming! I was chasing them all around. At breakfast time they ( and I ) were laughing at my shaky hand as I was trying to eat my cereal! lol soooooo funny...cereal and milk all over the place :-D

Anyway hope you all enjoy the rest of the weekend

Take care

Andy :-) xx

Andy,

I have spilled so many bowls of cereal and milk, tremors and milk are not a good combination! May sound strange, but I now mix my cereal with yogurt, makes it a little easier to eat, though I have dropped the whole bowl of it too! The cats and dog were there to get most of it cleaned up.:-)

I have also gone to more cooked cereals. Glad you had a good day, Susie

Last night I went to see a play written by old friend. I took the bus which wasn't bad. The drivers were very poliite about loading my walker. Met my son-in-law there. Pain in the butt lifting the walker into the theater but everyone was very helpful. And the play was funny. Today I went to a Buddhist meeting, then to my daughter's house where I heard my grand-daughter practice for hours :) then another kind of meeting and a bus home. Tomorrow? Got to pick up meds. Almost out of C/L and have to sort out paperwork to do taxes :P

We're a busy community. Did a bit of organizing yesterday and returned to the gym after a two week layoff due to my trip east. Today, I have this Homeric stack of paperwork to get through re bills, taxes, our divorce, my apartment, our older son's college funding, et al, all while my soon-to-be-ex is off galavanting with her new and improved version of me. Might start with church and/or making breakfast for my boys. This is not as bad or sad as it sounds.
