Hip replacement recall and metalosis

I have just had my hip replacement recalled. It is said to cause metalosis. I am at a loss as what to do! My Dr. says just to monitor my blood levels for now. I am afraid of what this will do to the progression of my Parkinson's. I really don't want to wait until I have metalosis...but revision surgery is said to be very difficult and risky......I have been worrying about the metal in my teeth and now this!

Sorry to hear--I swore never to have to have general anesthesia again. But the physical therapy to recover might be overall beneficial. Good luck with your decision. Second opinion?
