I think we should put which country we're in as it makes for a better connection and stops us waffling about what we get, and where from, because in the UK it's always free and in other countries it isn't (med) people don't have access like we do in the UK so we can be a llittle bit more supportive and understanding of our fellow members. Let's start a trend

If people filled in their profile we would only have to click on the member's name and it would tell us what health issues they had and where they lived.

Unfortunately it has always been a case that the majority either do not wish to share the info or they don't read the Introduction to using Health Unlocked and therefore do not know how to complete at least part of the Profile.

Just my opinion, Rib

Agree with Rib here. Also most people say in replies which country they are from.

If you refer to member's answers as 'waffle' you will put them off answering.

Meds aren't free in the UK unless you either live in Scotland or have an exemption criteria....script costs can be high

Oh yes! You're right! Sorry I forgot as I have my exempt certificate. And over 60. So you guys must be paying a lot of money for the needs you need. That's hard!

We live in the Canary Islands and as pensioners only pay 10% of script costs. Just a few cents thankfully!

Thanks dtech that Melbourn has not got an E on the end of it & is only a village with 4000 odd people. The Australian Melbourne as you would be aware has millions of people living here. Have you been here yet?’I haven’t seen you.

I will be saving for a trip to the UK in case someone who does very clever ink drawings & other artists exhibit there

(🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐).

You are very funny & cheeky DT

Best always xx

Yeah, I know. I was just joking with you. Been to (your) Melbourne twice. Last time was in January this year for the Australian open tennis 😃. And stayed for two weeks. Visited my cousins on Phillip island. And if you come to UK let me know. We are in n Herts. About 30 mins by train from London. Happy to meet up.

From your name you are about 8 miles south of Derby? Just about the centre of England, mid-way between the Wash and the Welsh border!

Luckily you do have a profile and Members can see that in fact you live in a Scots built town in the land of Oz or as we call you, a Good Neighbour 😉

Laughter is one of the most popular meds on this site. I prefer mine to be topped up with a bottle of gas. O2 being my favourite.

Welcome to the site MG, Rib

Many sites here have contributors all over the world, I have been doing this type of thing now for many years and to be honest it does not bother medications and treatments are very much the same throughout the West, Free world ??. It seems to make the sites more interesting. Yes it would be nice to know where people come from, however it makes an interest and we learn
