Most people don't know pain until they experience it. And then it's a dark place they hope never to repeat. Millions of dollars are spent trying to free people of pain. And then the person in pain will try almost anything at any cost to get out of pain.
I don't have any answers for you, just my smile and hugs for a better day today. Please don't try to guess other people's motives. I've learned the hard way that I'm 99% wrong 99% of the time.
Do you what's kind of funny? If someone is really mean to me or really gruff, I let it go. I give them a "pass," and think in my mind, they must be in pain or suffering something awful...
Love hugs..thank u so much.u know me..ive got some crazy silly thoughts helping me get through this..im tough,so i plan on being back to writing a hysterical post tomorrow.
yup, I think those are the two reasons why people don't want to hear about it: they can't take it away, which hurts them or they're afraid of how fragile the human body is. as I've told my mum, I don't need you to fix it, just be there. most people talk about whatever is going on in their lives or what affects them. when someone tells me I talk about my illnesses (plural!) too much, I wonder what they want me to say. it affects every part of my life each day and only rarely do I actually tell an able-bodied person how I feel (even then I minimise it for them). if it's too much for them to hear, one would think they'd realise they have no idea how much it is to bear.
