CBD OIL - good or bad ?

I take a lot of pain killers morphine tramadol naproxen and homeopathic, and they are giving me about 30% relief, I thought I would try CBD oil but there are so many out there can anybody recommend a brand. My op is middle of Nov so hopefully I will be able to stop taking everything. It is my second second discectomy in 8 months. I know the primary cause is my bulging disk but it is the extreme pain on the back of my thighs that is debilitating and wipes me out on every step I take so I thought okay let's try some CBD oil

Thanks

There is a Facebook page called ‘Simply CBD’ who sell the oil and can answer any questions and give advice on which oil is suitable and the dosage (dependant on your illness). It’s also not as expensive as some of other sellers. After reading reviews they seem to have good results

The primary cause may not be the bulging disk. The bulging disc may be a symptom of other things that are going on.

You say: "the extreme pain on the back of my thighs that is debilitating and wipes me out on every step" This hints at muscle control problems. Muscle control problems will pull discs out and cause massive pain and can cause over-contraction of muscles.

If you have a muscle control problem no amount of pain killer will help with better muscle control. You need to see specialists who work with muscle issues. These will include sports therapists, McTimony chiropractors, Alexander teachers just to name a few.

Sleep is important for the fine tuning of muscles. The above issues are for you to investigate. Note: the medical profession know very little about muscle control issues. muscle control issues cannot be seen on x-rays or MRI scans.

Worth googling "Thomas Myers". He has interesting things to say about fascia which you may or may not find helpful.

That was really helpful John I've now made an appointment to see a Mac Timoney chiropractor here where I live in Stamford next week, because no matter how much painkillers I take it does nothing to alleviate the pains upon movement. I also have a follow-up appointment on Wednesday with the consultant who did my nerve blockage injections eight weeks ago and since having done, the old leg pain went and in its place came these two lower buttock pains. Can't wait to see what he has to say
