Nefopam side effects

Hi, I’m new here and would like your opinions on Nefopam please, I started on it 2 weeks ago for my fibromyalgia and was just taking 2 a day, tried to up it to 3 a day and suffered horrific dizziness and nausea which is a shame as I feel it was beginning to help with the pain. So I stopped and hoped to take as and when, nope still dizzy and sick now with added insomnia which has been going on for days and I’m shattered. Do I need to just stick with it and ride it out. I’m also tapering down my Butrans patch as after a year and a half it’s completely changed me, and not in a good way, and causes more pain than relief. Any advice would me much appreciated, thank you.

Hi, it could be the tapering from butrans that’s giving you the insomnia and dizziness/nausea.

Hope it subsided soon
