Advise please

Can anyone please help me i had nerve block injection yesterday, now today i feel so much much feels like ive gone backwards regarding my pain and depressed feeling today, i cant think clearly pain overtaking me, aby suggestions, thank you

You might want to call your doctor to find out if this is something that happens after you get this injection. You never know that it may be a normal feeling. Even if it isn’t I would put a call out to your doctor.

Hi,

I felt like this after both of my injections, Iv had two blocks done over the last 18 months puedendal nerve blocks. I even posted on here like yourself. In some people they cause a huge flare up of pain. I even swore I wasn’t getting any more done ! It took three weeks to fully settle, but it did. I hope that’s so for you. If not then ring them and let them know at your gp or hospital clinic. I even called my pain clinic to ask about it at the time . Good luck

One of the things that happened with injections is that it stirs everything up and creates inflammation which in turn feeds depression. As others have said, this can be normal, the 'gets worse before it gets better'.

But as the weekend is coming up, you don't want to worry about not being able to talk to someone, so you might want to ring the clinic or your GP today just for reassurance.

Still in pain, flare up! Havent slept but seen doc today, theres only forwards now, looki g 4ward to the day i wont be in pain, well not as much as is, mabey il even be able to go out x

Hi I too had a injection in my facet joints 3 wk ago day 2 /3 was horrible pain increased tenfold ,don't think it's worked for me, hoping it's worked for you sandy, stuck in house also not coping to great as I don't see anyone
