Yesterday decided to get out of house with daughter as felt more painfree and had energy...just a couple of mins into walking...felt groin pain and knee pain (need new knee) and was so frustrated with body that even though had taken pain relief before leaving home, had to say to daughter Sorry i can't walk/stand any longer...and came home..
What is the nerve in groin/abdominal area causing this sharp/nagging pain ?
Thanks

Do you have a back injury? I do and also have nerve damage, the pain does go around the entire core including pelvuc pain from the nerve damage
Good question..re back injury..unfortunately 30 years had 2 car accidents in which my car was rear ended and did suffer whiplash and back pain both times...these 2 accidents happened within 6 months of each other and although i had great treatment and had my back 'cracked' at physio a few times it helped. The last 10-12 years have had flare up of OA and scoliosis diagnosis and just had first root nerve injection in lumbar region 4 weeks ago and had terrible abdominal pain after procedure...has settled down now but as i also had a mild stroke 7 years left me with right sided weakness only in right thigh/leg have suffered terrible groin spasms for which i have been on Pregablin and other pain meds..
I can see why the pain does go around the entire core..but hadn't visualised this until you mentioned this.
Hope you are not suffering too badly...what do you take for your nerve pain?
I was taking gabapentin but i couldnt tolerate it, i had so many diff side effects, i didnt realize it was the gabapentin for two whole years, i had lower it 100 mg monthly, what a nightmare, took the last dose 5 weeks ago and still having issues with blurry vision, double vision, feel like im in a fog, i think ive had 4 days of clarity,,,i only take pain med and now cbd/thc which helps but i hate the high part, never out of pain, nothing completely helps, i have bad pain if i sit, stand, or walk, nerve pain is stupid !
